Icebreakers are simple, easy, FUN, games or activities designed to:
- Help students learn the names of class members
- Break the tension/ice when groups are new
- Create a culture that expects active participation
- Provide a way to encourage students to share information
- Icebreakers should be used in the first few class meetings and/or as an ongoing strategy to bring up the energy level among the class.
